Biography

Lei Chen received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Shandong University, Jinan, China, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University, China. His research interests include image processing and computer vision, visual quality assessment and pattern recognition, machine learning and artificial intelligence. He was the principal investigator of projects granted from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, etc. He has published more than 40 papers on top international journals and conferences in recent years including IEEE TIP, Signal Process., ICME, etc. He was awarded the Future Plan for Young Scholars of Shandong University. He served for many international conferences including the ICIGP 2021, CSAI2022, MLCCIM2022, and ICIVC 2023 as Program Chair, Technical Chair or Publicity Chair.

Dr. ARUNKUMAR P M

Biography

Dr. Arunkumar P M is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore,India. He completed his Ph.D in 2016 with the specialization of Information and Communication Engineering at the Anna University, Chennai. He is an accomplished professional from the teaching fraternity with 18 years of experience. He obtained his Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering in 2005 and received his BE degree (Bachelor of Engineering) in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2003. He carried out his research in the area of wireless video QoE and has published more than 15 research articles in reputed international journals. His research interests include Machine learning, wireless networks, Telecommunication, Medical Informatics, algorithm design and data analytics. He has received funds from various government agencies such as CSIR, DRDO and ICMR to conduct workshops and seminars. He has acted as reviewer for many International journals.
Dr.Arun possess an MBA(Master of Business Administration) degree with specialization in HR management. Apart from the technical expertise, he has passion towards Career counseling and Neuro psychology. He has completed P.G.Diploma in Psychological counseling with special attention to Behavior Therapies. He has a Green belt certification and awarded “Global Career Counselor” from University of California, Los Angeles.He has acted as keynote speaker at various Institutions and has delivered lectures in the broad areas of Engineering, Cognitive psychology and HR management. He has more than 50 certifications from Coursera ,Alison, NPTEL and Accenture. He is an articulate communicator with demonstrated ability to teach and motivate students at the highest level.
